Pathfinding text

This was a test at making a pathfinder!

Looked up a*, got confused and made my own (not sure how much is subliminally taken from what I read) but I'm pretty damn happy with it.

Instructions (cause the in game ones suck):

First screen: paint the squares with the mouse: dark is the path/room/emptiness that can be moved through, light is the solid walls and cannot be calculated. Click done when you are happy with the map.

Next, click to place the green and red squares which represent the start and end point (so finder and target).

Then if there is a path it will display the shortest as a blue trail, click to restart. If no path is available then it just goes back to the first screen.

Next I will probably add in a sort of area/threat detector that will alter the paths to the shortest and safest path.
I hope to be able to use this in games and shit.
